The gallery continues to go from strength to strength, the current Hvass & Hannibal show, a near sell out, has garnered great reviews and site traffic has increased five-fold over the past twelve months.

We were very sad to hear the news that Alan Jeapes has died. Alan was an inspirational designer who helped to shape the look of the BBC in the TV’s golden era in the 1960s. His work has been seen by millions and his iconic titles for ‘Eastenders’, created 25 years ago, still run today. We included Alan’s work in the opening exhibition, ‘Timeframes’, at Kemistry Gallery. Alan was a larger than life character, passionate about typography with meticulous attention to design detail. We extend our condolences to his wife Bobbie and his two sons. He will be missed.

Omar, our MD, will be speaking at VinCe 2010, the leading Central European wine event on 20th & 21st March in Budapest. His presentation ’What Sells a Bottle of Wine?’ focuses on building a brand in the wine industry.

800 people queued outside Selfridges for the opening of the world’s most glamorous garage sale. No wonder. On offer was everything from a pair of Dame Shirley Bassey’s shoes to Lily Allen’s trainers along with high fashion items donated by Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Campbell, Elizabeth Hurley and Jemima Khan amongst others. Organised by Yasmin le Bon and Lisa B for their new charity, Mother’s for Children, the event was a roaring success. We were happy to help and now we feel all warm and Christmassy.

Graham joined a panel of experts at this years’ NewsXchange 2009 Conference in Malta to discuss the branding issues faced by news broadcasters in the current economic climate.
