Celebrating the best in premium sports content. The rebrand of the Digi Sport network.
RCS RDS launched their first sports channels back in 2009, which mainly offered domestic and European League football. By 2012, the company had expanded its content offering and now owned the rights to all the major events in the wider international sporting calendar. We were tasked with creating an identity for Digi Sport and its three channels Digi Sport 1, Digi Sport 2 and Digi Sport 3, that would reflect the quality and bread of content on offer.
Based on the positioning ‘the home of international sports’, we created a striking identity that incorporates the Digi brand colour and draws on its heritage of football yet looks contemporary and inclusive for the wide range of sports fans it now attracts. It was also important to deliver a flexible on screen presentation system that allows external feeds to be Digi branded and can also be adapted for locally produced content where a more in depth presentation system is required.
The glossy new look and feel for Digi Sport has been well received, clearly communicating that Digi Sport is the destination of choice for sports fans across Hungary and Romania.
